@charliebaja I’ve produced more than 30 DVDs (many now available at Amazon) with Sony Movie Studio, using DVD Architect which is included with Sony Movie Studio, so yes, you can make DVDs with it.
You can import most audio, video, and image files.

But is there a way to combine clips from various segments that have been edited and reordered?

@hiddenblood You can highlight the segments, select copy, and then paste the edited segment anywhere on the timeline.

After I split the video, how do I save the split sections as different files?

@adamsnewaccount You can render the split section as a separate video, by highlighting that section, choose ‘render as’, and place a check in ‘loop region only’

@xxSongzzxx In Sony Movie Studio, choose ‘project’, then ‘render as’, then enter a file name, choose a file type and preset, and click ’save’ to render the edits as a new video file.
That file can then be uploaded or used as you choose.

u can also scroll over the audio and make it so that no sound comes out just by that 2 setted arrow and bring that all the way down and the sound frequences will be shown like this —————————— instead of /–___—-////““`—-/–/( just a example) and what that does is basicly mutes the audio of that clip :D

If I wanted to keep a bit of spoken video and not the visual part, how would I do that? For example, if I wanted to use the spoken segment overlayed onto another video segment. Would the same actions apply as above but deleting the video section instead of audio?

@potterfan74 Yes, just ungroup the audio and video, and then delete the video.
